ABOUT NICKOLE

A self-taught artist that have been painting and sketching since childhood. It started as doodling and creating 'paper toys' cutting them out and playing with them, to painting for family and friends. Some business signs, special keepsakes for weddings, painting on furniture pieces, wood and cardboard. Her grandmother being a pinnacle drive for her push forward into the art world. Always supporting and asking if needed more paint or anything of the kind, in the small craft shops of The Bahamas, their homeland.

Nickole moved to Norway in her early 20s and almost immediately started working as an art teacher. It was a different world, new language, but art transcends above it all.

These days she can be found sparing her time creating watercolour paint from scratch (her grandmother would be proud). Painting of course, working on her children's book amongst many other small projects.
